How is Military training Going to change my Life?

i'm not sure i'll be able to do something big after highg school. And i think the military might disipline me as a person. Can i get rich after in that field? Is it a good idea? What is your life as a soldier or sailer and after? Canadian army?

  1. You will learn discipline if you apply yourself. You won't get rich being a soldier. You will get a good pay check after you have been in for 3 or more years, depending on what rank you make it to. The military can pay for you to get a college education, you will never worry about being homeless or not having food to eat. It's the best job security in the country today.

  2. If you are looking to get rich, the the military is not the job for you. Not sure about Canada, but in Aus the pay is decent, but as an enlisted man, you wont be rolling in the money. But it's not about that. It's about serving your country to the utmost. The military will bring you some discipline, but if you go in there expecting them to give you anything, you are going to be sorely mistaken, you are there to work.
