How is Orihime pronounced? (From the manga/anime series Bleach)?

I'm just curious if someone can tell me how to properly pronounce Orihime? My understanding is that is pronounced like this: O-ree-hee-may.

On a site I was on a bit ago, I noticed that someone made the comment that the english dubbed version of the anime pronounces it incorrectly (as stated above).

How would it be pronounced according to the rules of the Japanese language?

its pronounced oh-re-hee-meh. similar to what u said. i heard it said so many times on the subbed version of bleach. thats how they say it on the anime.

oh-ree-hee-meh ... There is an accent on "ree"

but the oh is a soft "o" sound...English usually says "oh" like "oh-ooh" so just take out the "ooh" part

the "r" in "ree" is kind of a mix between an "r" and "L" sound...kinda like you're rolling your tongue

hee is basically just "hee"

meh is basically just "meh"

Yeah its like you pronounce it, but may sure you end the last part 'may' like 'mahy', it makes it sound softer.
