How is Panama City, Panama as a vacation spot?

I am a single, 31 yr old male. How are the casinos for playing texas hold em? Also, I hear that the beach is an hour and a half away if you want to go swimming??? I love going to the beach, what should I do? are there any big pools? Any good budget hotels to stay at? Looking to spend about $30-$40 a night.

dude, it is amazing, im here now, it is sooo goood, everything you want is here... it is really cheap and dont ask just come over, you ll find the hotel, plenty of casinos and beaches and everything...

excluding casino stuff, i would say: 100-200 $(deending on which hotels you ll stay) for a week is OK
