How is Quebec better than Vancouver?

I have an assignment and The only thing i like was quebec has cheaper houses than Vancouver..

I need help can anyone give me tips from how quebec is better place to live than Vanocuver?

I would say that you should not try to compare the two and try and determine which is "better", as both have their good points and bad points. All I can suggest is that you make a list of the pros and cons and then let the reader make up their minds as to which one is better for them.

Since you are selecting Vancouver (a city), I assume that you want to compare it to Quebec City, not Quebec the province. Otherwise its an apples to oranges thing.

For your assignment, you can compare climate, region history, current crime rates, real estate costs, ethnic background of residents, prevalent languages, and economy.

Vancouver is much larger, has a much larger influx of Asians, a less historic background, higher crime rates, and is more expensive for property than Quebec City. As a result, you will hear more English and Mandarin (or other asian languages) in Vancouver, more French and a bit of English in Quebec City due to the French culture and the high amount of tourism.

The climate is much milder in Vancouver due to the mountain range and the ocean. In Quebec, they get cold winters with regular dumpings of snow due to being in the St. Laurence Valley.

That's just a few ideas. I would recommend going on the internet and into encyclopaedias to get facts and figures to add to your assignment.

If you like sub-zero weather, many feet of snow each winter, massive ice storms which knock out power for days, treacherous driving conditions, road signs in French only, clerks who will only confer with you in French and a generally s****. atitude towards Anglophones, then Quebec is the place to be.

On the other hand, if you enjoy beautiful scenery, ski and golf on the same day, multicultural residence base, beautiful weather in the summer, mild winters andmost everybody speaks English and French then Vancouver is the spot.  Your choice.

Well...  aside from Vancouver's moderate winter climate, ocean, mountains, amazing greenary, wilderness and multiculturalism...  yes Quebec is a much better place?

Quebec is less expensive than Vancouver. Other than that Vancouver is a more beautiful place.
