  1. I checked the Royal Diary at http://www.royal.gov/uk/output/Page4056....

and got this: "Monday, 2nd June 2008

The Queen will visit the Queen Elizabeth 2 in Southampton Dock".

  2. She may have a quiet drink with her family, and accept the congratulations of the nation via the Prime Minister on his usual weekly personal visit.  Her next big celebration will be her Diamond Jubilee [60th] in 2013.

  3. I doubt she'll celebrate extensively. The above answerer is correct when he says we will next have national celebration for her diamond Jubilee in 2012. We tend to celebrate the year of ascension rather then the Year of Coronation. The Queen ascended the Throne in 1952 but didn't have her coronation until June 1953. The Queen became Queen long before her formal coronation.
