  1. it dosen't have anything on the planes thats why

  2. Southwest was smart and "hedged" their fuel supply.  This is another name for.... speculation.

They bought futures contracts for delivery of jet fuel back when it was about $2 a gallon.  Right now they're paying 1/2 what the other airlines are paying.

  3. It isn't always cheaper but many times they are.  Southwest has hedged a good part of their fuel costs for this year meaning they are paying around $50-$70 for fuel while the other airlines are paying over $100.  This translates into a lot of savings and sometimes the airline passes those savings onto the passenger.

  4. Besides being nothing more than a bus with wings, they also cut corners on their aircraft maintenance programs to save money.

  5. no its not. jetblue is

  6. http://www.firstworldclasstravel.com

I use it because the prices are all front loaded (no surprises with tax and fees before purchase)

    It's competitive.

It has more to offer than any other site I've been to.

  7. because they dont give you food or drinks.. its almost like riding a bus or greyhound bus. first come first serve (seats) u dont get to choose where u wanna seat or anything..

  8. It's no frills.  There are no reserved seats, no food, and no customer service.
