How is Spain in October

Question

What is the weather in Spain like in October?

I'm going away in October, I'm sure of that, but not sure where yet. I think it'll probably be Spain, so if it is Spain, where in Spain will be a good place at this time in the year?

Canary Islands?

Balearic Islands?

Mainland Spain?

Out of these three, which will be the hottest come October? Also the most expensive, thanks ;)

I live in Spain and it is still hot in October. Evenings feel cooler and it is easier to sleep then as well.

Presently it is 28C in my apartment and it is 10.58pm at night. Hot and Sticky.

I live in Benidorm and its great for tourists, but we tend to be dressing more in our winter clothes, whilst Brits on holiday are in shorts!!!

I've  been to  Majorca in October and it was very damp and misty and not warm at all.

Majorca will be cheap for that reason.

Canaries will be much more expensive. (Much more sun)

Mainland is reasonably priced and we have sun too¬!!!

last year I was still in shorts, t shirts and flip flops on halloween, on the mainland in the north so I guess that the weather should be fine whichever of the places you want to go. Canary Islands should be the hottest.

Canary Isles are hot all year round but there are cloudy, blustery, rainy days too as they are volcanic...so the weather can change dramatically.

southern Spain will be lovely & warm in the day & a little cooler in the evenings...just take a cardigan/jacket....same goes for the Balearics....which i would prefer to the Canary Islands.

Southern spain. Or Canaries. Haven't been to Balearics. In October it's HOT HOT HOT!
