  1. This little spot at 99 E. 52nd St., may be the center of the world. It is a place where the makers and the breakers and the shakers of the world may drop in for a bite. Your fellow diners may include a former Secretary of State, the third richest woman in North America, two young British Royals and their dates, your favorite mystery story writer, the star of last seasons's biggest TV hit, a record producer and his latest successful group, and the Count of Monte Cristo (incognito, of course).

Surprisingly for such a magnificent setting (architects Philip Johnson & Mies Van De Rohe) and rather coolish  decor, the place is warm. Service is watchful and thoughtful. Eat steak, lobster. This is no place for salad or omelettes, although both are obtainable and are delicious.

Prices? If you have to ask ...

No casual dining. This is an experience for a lifetime. Dress accordingly, and bring that platinum credit card.  ENJOY!

  2. x.x, I've located a local list of restaurants that might help. You can narrow down the New York results by cities nearby to you. If you phone several of the restaurants you can narrow down wich one would work best for you. http://www.restaurantreviewsratings.com/...
