  1. it takes place in the Roaring 20's and shows how people lived during this time. It also showed relationsips between the rich and poor. This book showed how money was power over politics (the main cahracter made alchol) illegal at the time.

  3. It starts taking place during the roaring 20s which is when everyone was wealthy, and happy and had money..

    It then broke down the difference between the haves and have nots..

    It divides the city between west and east egg which is basically the rich end and the poor end.

    It shows how things back then were ran..

    By the amount of money you had..

    Basically if you had money, you could almost get away with anything.
