How is Toms River, New Jersey? ?

I would like to have a travel to Toms River, New Jersey. Is there a nice place? How is the living cost there? Is it secure to live there for short time?

Toms River is about 7-8 miles from the Atlantic ocean and Seaside Park, which has a boardwalk with rides and stands to eat at, this time of year Seaside is packed with teens.

The city of Toms River is mostly made up of senior citizens who live in communities where the homes are close together, and not to expensive..maybe $160-170,000.

It has one major highway running through it which is Rt 37, it has plenty of places for shopping..food and furniture clothes as well and is served by Community Medical Center, a hospital of I guess about 300 beds.

I have relatives who live in one of the senior developments and yes, it is safe there..you take your chances in the rest of the town,
