How is WA differant to the rest of aussie?

It is different in the fact that it is very hard to get from one place to another as the distances are so great. The Perth railways system is very efficeint its a pity it does not cover more of the State. I love travelleing in WA as it is very diverse in features and is a lot quieter than NSW where the majority of the population lives.All the states are very similar in respect of the people who live there but WA is so vast with only a population of 1 million (I think that was the last census) whilst Sydney has a population of 1 million spread over a lot less area.

The only major difference is that it's capital Perth is probably the most remote city of > 1million people in the world, in terms of distance from other cities as large.

Me:  No, not really, it has trees, grass, plants, roads, houses, large buildings, sea, beaches much like the rest of Australia.
