they get all their merchindise from china and other places other than america so it is suposed to be bad for our economy ( that is what i my dad says he dosnt shop there)

Walmart uses its size to obtain enormous discounts and contracts from 3rd-world countries where the workers are under-paid and overworked. Children toil 10 hours a day turning out fake Indian rugs for $.30 an hour. When the inspectors come in, they are paid off or the illegal labor is hidden for the duration. WalMart has forced their employees to work hours not documented on their time cards, thus making it seem they did more work in 40 hours than was true.

THIS IS NOT THE AMERICAN WAY, PEOPLE.. You'd enslave a 9-year-old so you can save $.50 on paper towels? Let's have global labor law and buy "made in America" to keep it in America.

How? Not at all.  They are a typical modern capitalistic corporation. They use the cheapest sources available as does every other corporation.

They are running the little guy out of business. So what. So did/does Sears, J C Penney, Macy's, and every other large department store. This is called competition.

If someones does like them they are free to shop at the other more expensive stores that also uses cheap labor.

Tell it to the Mountain Lady Mala. Wal Mart is far from the only corporation doing such practices. We need to react less with emotion and use intellect to solve cultural and social-economic issues.
