How is Western Europe able to provide enough food for its dense population? ?

A) The region imports most of its food supply.

B) Large, densely populated agricultural regions harvest crops year-round.

C) Sophisticated farming methods are used to produce high crop yields.

D) Most of the region's labor force works in agriculture.

  2. as far as i learned in school, most of our food comes from elsewhere...

    grains is imported from america,

    bananas from brazil,

    vegetables from turkey, egypt etc.

    but since i live near a LOT of greenhouses, ill go fo C.

  3. According to my wikipedia, Europe imports very little food product and actually exports more, so A is not right. D is not right either, because obviously most Europeans aren't farmers. I cannot tell between B and C, but one or a combination of those is surely the answer. I do think that C is more likely, because europe is technologically advanced and I have heard that they do a lot of genetic modification of food crops.
