Sometimes, they say I dress like older girls do. Other times, they say I look like a little girl with the clothes I wear. I'm confused. Could anyone give me a picture or description of how a 16 yr old is supposed to look?

  1. Look like yourself:P

Dress however you like, trends suck.

  2. You can dress like anything you want to dress. Theres no code! Well, maybe in some schools, but if you dress maturly, good on you :D

  3. Like skye sweetnam

  4. The way you dress expresses your style and gives a clue to what kind of person you are.

I think you should dress the way you feel comfortable, and remember that you're still just 16 so you're parents should have a say in it too, so i can't just tell you to wear whatever you want.

Look at other girls and observe them.

Take note of what kind of person they are.

Take note of how others act around them.

Ask yourself what you see and think, when you look at them.

Then ask yourself if this is how you want to look.

Then give it your own little touch unique to you, and go for it.

I'm sure that you'll find a balance, a harmony with your look.

and ALWAYS know that you're beautiful.

  5. There isn't a "supposed to"

When I was 16 I wore a lot of skirts and combat boots. My best friend wore thigh high striped socks, mismatched shoes and gypsie relics and kept her hair in princess Leia buns. Our other best friend wore sensible khakis, birkenstocks and fitted blouses and cardigans. 16 is a great age. You can do WHATEVER you want.

  6. Well I think this is something you really need to decide for yourself.  Talking with your parents may also help you make this decision...though at 16 my parents would have liked my to wear a potato sack.

I personally feel it would be appropriate to wear things made for teens or slightly older.  Just be careful there are some things I fee are extremely inappropriate for young women...sometimes all women.

  7. go to abercrombie & fitch, holloster, american eagle, pacsun, forever 21, charlotte russe, or any tj maxx, kohls, belk, dillards, macy's etc. and look in the juniors department. thats your age group.

Here is a seventeen fashion link where are showing the fashionable look for girls your age.

  9. They are supposed to look like you!

Girl you are your world... and no one should decided what goes on there, except YOU!

So I say, in your world.... every 16 year old should look the way you look!

    The end, period!

  10. wear what you like! there is no text written somewhere that states what a 16 year old is "supposed" to look like. there is no supposed. be unique. be YOU. be who you are. be who you WANT to be. and be confident being those...i'm 16, got a full on mohawk, combat boots, plaid shirts/dresses and tights. hows that, lol?

  11. Just be yourself. d**n, it's hard to be your age. But drink it up sister, cause it doesn't last long! You dress and act how you want, and don't worry about those other people.

Just be yourself, and don't confuse that by what others say. :)

  12. conformity much? wear what you like.

  13. however they want....like me :)

  14. Innocent

  15. I agree with the first guy...

Don't worry about what people think

dress how you wanna dress and

    be who you wanna be....

don't go by what other people say. :)

  16. Your hot it doesn't matter what people think. Well from what i see i think your hot

  17. arent you guys supposed to wear like those ugly asss juicy sweat things all the time?

  18. Not like a tramp.Trampy girls are nasty and trashy looking.

  19. Just wear clothes that make you feel comfortable(no PJ's though in public lol)..

You don't have to wear clothes that are too revealing or conversely wear clothes that are "child like".

Wear what you feel comfortable in. Let other people say what they want but let it fall onto deaf ears.

  20. like themselves...Stop being stereotypical.
