  1. A course is measured fron the center of the teeing ground down the center of the fairway which includes " dog legs" to the center of the green.


  2. The distance of a hole is from the typical location of the tee box to the center of the green. The flag can be in different locations each day and the tee box can change as well. So the distance on any given day will be different than the posted length. This adds a level of difficulty to the course and you have to use your best judgement to determine the distance and club to use.

  3. Each hole has the yard measurements from each tee box. So from whichever box you teed off of, that's where you should start doing the math.
