How is a belly button formed?

Why do some people have an "inny" and some have an "outy?"

a belly button is formed from the remainder that results from the cutting of the umbilical cord. it is either cut from the base which results in "inny" or a little away from the base which gives you a "outy"

when the embelical cord is cut.  it either sucks back in or it doesn't.

Because God made everyone different some have innys some have outy's, everyone is different.

A belly button is what's left of your umbilical cord, which is how a fetus gets nourishment from the mother while in the womb.

I think innies and outies depend on how the doctor ties off the cord when the baby is born.
