  1. You either stand in front of a metal plate, or a plate is placed behind your back in bed (if you are unable to stand) and an xray camera is positioned in front of you. One click and it's done - easy and painless. You may have to to also turn to the side with your arms above your head for another 'click' if lateral pictures are required.
