  1. If it IS a water bed, make sure you have lifebelts fastened to the bedroom walls, and provide at least six, four inch diameter drains in the floor, just in case it pops


  2. You could probably park your car in your bedroom, I wouldn't reccomend it though.

  3. very low odds, only water beds put a strain on the floor joists, if its a water bed you are putting in then I'd suggest the following

    1, remove chipboard flooring (solid pine floorboards are fine) and replace with 18mm or 22mm external ply where bed is going to be.

    2, before fixing the boarding down put 2 -3 noggins between the floor joists where the bed legs are going to be.

    you may get a few cracks on the ceiling below
