Yes, it is possible to have a good relationship, but for that to work out you need to be open minded and patient and both parties must have realistic expectations. And of course like every couple, you need to be compatible. You need to understand and accept that the autistic person is a little different and both of you need to be aware and supportive of each other's needs, which may not always be the same.
