I have looked through my Earth Systems textbook and the stupid thing doesn't have anything on it.

I need to get this done in the next half hour or so. It's do tomorrow and I am dead tired.

  1. Well if your talking about erosion it would be the walls of the river being eroded onto the riverbed, as time progresses this can cause a sand bar. For oceans it would be tides pushing sand ontop of each other

just make a drawing of a cycle of the wall of the river eroding and sand being built up on the bottom add arrows and labels.

  2. A sand bar is formed when a river deposits it's load (usually bedload) when it's too oversaturated.
