How is an 1880 on sat?

Question

it's my first time taking it.

i got...

690 is CR

530 in math

660 in writing with an 11 on the essay

i will retake the test anyway to improve, but i'm just wondering about this first score. i know it's not great, mostly because of the math, but idk...

Hey there,

Your score of 1880 is better than average. The average on the SAT exam is 1500. Thus, you were 190 points above average. Although your score was above average, it is not a great score. If you are planning on applying to any of the prestigious schools across the country, I would highly recommend that you prep more for the exam. As aids for studying for the SAT exam, try using tutorfox.com's sat guide and the princeton review's sat guide. Tutorfox.com sells its guide for only 10 dollars, and it written by two students who scored a 2400 and a 2350 on the exam. The Princeton Review's sat guide sells for about 15 dollars, and helps students tackle problems they are unfamilar with. Let me know if you need any more help and/or info.

hey, u go the same score as me...

640 reading

610 math

630 writing

12 on essay

if ur anything like me and want to achieve better, then it would be recommended that you do take it again...first time is like a way to see wat u can do and wat u need to improve on next...and remember to review everything, even if u know it already, just touch up on it....spent all my time in english and felt too confident on my math....besides, most colleges will take the highest scores in each area from all the tests u have taken
