How is anne frank extraodinary?

Err... she kept a diary in WWII and got killed later in a camp.

She told about what life was like.

I DONT KNOW. we had to read the book/diary thing in l.a class and i hated it. i dont know how i am still alive today, and according to my brain and friends, she isnt extraordinary. god bless the people that read her diary and are still alive.

her diaries were an insight into a childs view not only of the war but of life and her relationships as a whole. a developing young woman of the era! I'm not sure anyone would actually KNOW if anne frank herself was extraordinary, but her diary was- I thought that was the point of the diary too that she WASN'T extraordinary, just an innocent child caught in a conflict?
