  1. Unfortunately!Things will get worse!!

  2. Many won't in the future.http://www.theforbiddenknowledge.com/har... http://greatdepression2.org/ http://www.inlibertyandfreedom.com/nwo.h... http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/esp_so...

  3. i noticed the same thing the prices keep going up I'm struggling too everything has gone up except my husbands wages and on top off all that 4 weeks ago i paid £279 for 500ltrs of heating oil and this morning i went to put it on cos the kids were cold and someone has stole my oil so i hope the weather stays warm for a while. i hope the cost of living comes down soon

  4. It's not so bad. In some parts of the world they have over 1000% inflation. That would put your Cauli at £680!!! Buy less of the more expensive items and more of the less expensive items. Buy own brands and try to haggle the price down...might not work in Tesco though.

You know you don't have a bad life. Housing provided, water provided, money for food and clothing provided. You might like to look at other parts of the world.

    Cheer up :o)

Oh, just remembered. You can afford a computer but food is getting difficult. Then at some point consider selling the computer and spending the money on food.

  5. Ask those people that voted them to power. What are we doing now, nothing but sitting back and complaining. We should show a sign of unity and let the powers that be that innocent people in this so called free state are going hungry through no fault of their own.

  6. It is a very tough situation.  There are and will not be any easy answers.  I personally know that it can be done.  I was a youngster when we were going throught the great depression.  Like you, we had very little, but survived.  No, we did not have the healthiest food to eat.  We had a lot  of potatoes, a lot of soup, very little meat, and only the fruit and vegetables we raised ourselves.  What I am saying is, for a while, you give up a lot of things.  You only spend money on what you absolutely need, ie, food, clothing{from the thrift shops) , fuel for your home .Then you close off the rooms you do not need so you do not have to heat them or cool them.  You spend a lot of time outdoors in the warm months, no air conditioners needed outdoors.  Do you need a car?  if not, get rid of it.   Do you need video games and LCD TV's, No,  Play outside with friends.  The list can go on and on.  The flip side is, it will end.  Life will get better again.  Make the best of it, the best you can.

  7. I know whay your on about, I spent 40 quid on food tues and theres still nothing in the cubourds, had to have cheese rolls tonight

  8. Too complicated where you

eat. Try chips and egg. I just

    want more cookies.

Yes, that is so silly. i love that.

    silly people are wonderful.

you tickle me! ha ha ha ha

  9. I hear ya!  For years those who are on fixed/low incomes or assistance have been stuggling to put food on the table, but now it's out of control.  The upper-middle class to the rich still don't have a true sense to the emotional struggles of the middle & lower class have when putting HEALTHY food on the table day-in day-out.  Yes other poorer countries have been starving for decades while western countries turned a blind eye, but now it's hitting the western countries & those who barely can live in such a country are the 1st to be hit hard!  And to those who suggest you should get rid of your computer, I don't know about you, but I don't own one myself, so how am I able to use one?  Have they not heard of the Library or other community centers that provide computers?  And even if you do own your own, it probably helps your child for school work or you in your work or search for work.

Humans can not live without FOOD, WATER, AIR & the necessity basics of shelter & clothing.  Our priorities in western societies has always been misplaced when it comes to the well being of others.  I hope, if things get worse before they get better, we'll be reminded how the survivors of the Great Depression banded together including the governments of the day to help each other through the struggles to come & not abuse this crisis to take advantage of those who are suffering from high food costs & those who will be soon.

Edit:  I saw a program that showed many turning back to growing food in their gardens or community gardens.  I suspect this is the route most of us will have to go, even if we know little about growing food.  If you're interested in this path, you might try contacting your city hall or any city center/rec. center to ask about courses teaching the basics to in-door gardening &/or home gardening or creating a communal garden within your area to feed yourself at least during the growing season.

I feel for your situation & hope it improves.  =)

  10. yes its not good, but we in the UK are very lucky - imagine what equivalent price rises mean in Africa, south America and Asia - these price increases, especially on rice, literally mean the difference between life and death.

  11. i know what your saying, it is especially expensive to be vegetarian. Produce prices have gone wayyy up. I have quit eating organic by now.
