How is college life in the US different from college life in Australia?

You cannot experience the fullness of both at the same time and level of maturity.  You will be older, possibly wiser at the second college.

Travel broadens out horizons too.

College life has nothing to do with college, unless you are paying for 100% of your college the only thing you should be doing besides studying, eating, and sleeping alone is worshiping who ever invested their hard earned money into your education.
