How is drought caused by the climate and human actions?

  1. Drought is caused by lack of rain - otherwise known as a dry climate. The link to "human actions" is basically that the greenhouse gases produced by power plants, motor vehicles, and industrial emissions are causing temperature changes that affect the jet stream which causes dry climates to shift to areas where the climate was wet. Therefore areas that were normally wet became dry or drought resulted.
