seller protection is pretty bad. i advise you stay away.

i use to sell stuff on ebay.. But they become expensive. I now sell my stuff on etsy, and it's really much nicer. It's cheaper, and you can post your stuff for 2 months (!!!) with 5 free pictures, instead of for 7 days with 1 picture. But it's all about what you want to sell...

Well I think from the standpoint of profits eBay ain't going no where or going to be hurt no time soon because of the brand name they built.  Customer service on the other hand they lacking like they have closed down countless powerseller accounts just because or killed start-ups before they could really start.  I dont understand how anybody can look at eBay as a business model for there start up now anyway because the revenues may not match the cost since eBay has constanly raised prices over the years...
