How is ft carson, co?

i just want to know if ft carson is any good to be stationed at. thinking about gettin that in my contract for my re-up

Ft. Carson is awesome.  They have new housing, the weather is pretty decent.  It does get cold in the winter.  And in the summer you can almost go without AC.

Takes awhile to get used to breathing with the altitude.

You are about 60 miles from Denver.  There is lots to do right in the city of Colorado Springs.

I see that your looking at your options.  Ft. Carson is pretty cool.  I was there for 3 years.  Plenty of bars, nightlife, Denver is a drive up I25.  Plus the scenery there is beautiful.  You'll have to get used to the altitude when you first get there, then you can run Commo Hill.  Or do the big *** Land Nav course they got.  I loved it!!  Ft. Benning is cool too.  It gets cold as h**l though.

I was at Carson for 3 years and LOVED it!!  You get snow once and a while, but it never says longer than 2 days.  Most bad weather actually seems to go around the Springs.  It is a great place to live.
