How is globalisation, development, tnc's and mnc's effected by primark and monsoon?

  1. Primark and Monsoon are big transnational or multinational corporations.

    They effect globalisation, because they have factories and stores all over the world.

    These big stores have factories is LEDC's where people work for many hours for rubbish pay. Basically it is cheaper then making the products they sell in the US or the UK, because in the US or UK, people have to get paid minimal wage. Nike is another example of a tnc or mnc and globalisation. They pay for a pair of their shoes something like $4 to make. And then they sell for $100 in the US...

    Globalisation benefits the area which the factory is in though. Because the factory can supply hundreds of jobs to people which helps the countries economy and helps them develop.
