  1. heat is a source of friction. which cause the movement and transfer of electrons which creates energy.


  2. Heat is used to boil water which has steam that forces a turbine round (this turbine is where the electricity is generated) and the steam is cooled and re-condensed back into the boiling water again. This is the principle behind thermal power plants.

  3. Heat IS a form of energy.  It can be converted to mechanical,  electrical or chemical energy in any number of ways.

    For example, Heat can power a steam engine which can, in turn, power an electrical generator.
