  1. The United Nations doesn't have the ability to "make all decisions", and won't in the future.  


  2. Human destiny is shaped by numerous factors which are not immediately visible to an individual. There are many decisions which are made by a variety of people which effect us greatly but we never realise that they have been the ones responsible for a particular action. IF, in the future the United Nations becomes a truly global governing body with the power to enforce it's decisions instead of an organisation which is basically powerless due to the ever potent ideology of nationalism (well certainly in the last century).
