How is image dynamics components?

They were pretty impressive when I heard them in a competition install 2 years ago.  ID has a great reputation and from my experience all of their products have been of very good quality.  The best thing to do would be to find out if you can audition them in someones car or on a sound board before you buy.

personally never heard them, but i have heard great things about all thier products. I see no reason why the components would not hold up to thier reputation. However, speakers are very subjective and what one person really likes you may hate, and visa versa... so my advice is to take a listen for yourself, if you like um, go for it.

the best vfm i had heard till now was image dynamics - ctx, sounded very true to life and there off axis response was the best i had heard till now...many of the extreme expensive sets i had used didn't had good off axis response like those.

ID stuff is really getting better and better - there hi-efficiency designs reminds me of those old studio speakers whose efficiency were like 100db and that was standard at that time..nobody make and those drivers now as they cost more to make, everybody is in making money

they are bringing the old technology again and other companies are wasting time researching nothing.
