  1. I agree with the second poster - don't save it for two weeks. I buy it for use w/in the next 3-4 days. I soak it in water (husk still on)  then I wrap it in foil and put it on the grill!!

  2. Don't keep sweet corn for 2 weeks. Eat what you have now and buy more if you want to serve it in 2 weeks.

To cook on the grill, peel husks back remove silk smooth  a few husks back forward again wrap in foil and cook on grill for 25 minutes.

  3. Blanche it then freeze it, it won't last that long. That's the thing about corn, it shouldn't be picked until your ready to use it or put it up in the freezer or can it.. It will get soured, in just a day or 2 and especially for 2 weeks.

If you want to cook them on the grill in the husk, soak them in water then lay on hot coals, turn frequently till black, the inside will be yellow and cooked, pour melted margarine over them when you eat em.

You can grill corn that has been frozen or fresh shucked also, just lay the thawed or fresh corn on hot grill, turn frequently and baste with margarine till kernels are lightly roasted and soft. Only about 10 min. or less.

An idea I just had!! Try freezing the whole corn husk and all, just throw em in the freezer, then the day you want to cook them, let them thaw a couple hours, then go throught that roasting process in the husks like like I posted in that first link. Don't see why it wouldn't work, but of course nothing will be as good as fresh!!!
