yahoo closes my account after i answer a question about beauty products. she asked which was the best make up remover. so i gave her my honest answer. but then i'm reading the yahoo home page and they have a question from an author talking about grief and her screen play. what is the difference, why is her's ok and mine isn't?

  1. The difference is that you got caught and she didn't -- plain and simple. Some people seem to get away with hundreds of violations posting explicit questions in Polls & Surveys while others get suspended after just one. The rules might be hard and fast, but the way in which they are enforced is severely lacking in consistency. For example, I have never lied about my age to get into any services for which I wasn't qualified, yet my accounts have been suspended while there's this boy who claims to be 14 who has been posting with a real picture, his 360 link visible on his profile, for the past 9 months! I'm sure he'll get suspended someday, just as the person about whom you are speaking probably will too, but sometimes it's actually the not-so-bad ones like you and I who go down ahead of the real abusers.
