  1. You question is best answered by you! If you love the USA, start packing so you can tell your family, friends back home how it is. The Beach Boys or Tower of Power are decent listens for West coast influences. Bruce Springsteen tells us about New Jersey. Jimmy Buffet puts Florida in perspective. Nashville artists paint between those borders. Launch Google Earth or Map quest and listen to some of those tunes. Forget what advice you get. There are good points and not so good points for any location on the planet. You're in the best position to make those determinations. If you're over 18, responsible and aware, file a change of address after you pick up packing boxes and tape. Get to the US (legally). If you don't get a job with AMTRAK or an airline for travel benefits, get a truck drivers job. See as much US real estate as possible while here. If not, you're blowing sunshine up the socks. Don't know where you live, but for a "feel good" moment, I launch Swing Out Sister and look at some pics of the UK on a sunny day. That way, I don't have to break out the ones I took of rats in the the tube. See 'ya later, bye...

  2. Curious ........you're totally right ...........

there's alot to see in every 50 states of USA .

    darn I wished i could take a vacation , 12 days

but with gas prices , food prices , etcccc ....

I don't see how anyone can afford it .

    do without something ........

  3. it would be alot better w/out President Bush!!!

  4. Like everywhere---it has it's good side and it's bad side.  Lots of opportunities; lots to do; but lots to put up with too.  Overall, it's a pretty good place to live.

  5. Depends on where you are, but overall its pretty cool. Americans can be a little uptight at times, but so can everyone else! It can be a little boring in the country, but places like New York and Philadelphia are awesome!

  6. Depends on where you are! If you come here for sightseeing and touring, you'll see the fantasy; the good side.

If you venture off and get to know the people, you'll see the real side.

I'm from Philly, where if you venture too far, you might not make it back home.

  7. The U.S. is so expansive and diverse that it is nearly impossible to give a catch-all description. As far as the people, that changes with where you go. In the south, people are more hospitable, but there is often less to do. In the north and east, the opposite is true. In terms of natural attractions, the U.S. has almost everything to offer, including numerous mountain ranges, rivers, landscapes, beaches, and forests. I am certain that no matter your taste you can find what you are looking for somewhere in the nation. Just be sure to look in the right place.

  8. It's not all that bad. People make it out like we're so evil and care about nothing but ourselves, but really, we're just like every other country essentially.

    Honestly though, I prefer Canada.
