Hi it is not legal, and eBay always catch the people who try, and remove the listing, so you lose your money with the listing fees, as I dont think they get refunded

i believe that if it is an older film, like the original version of hairspray,then i think it's ok. but i think anything after 1980, if it is copied and sold, it's considered p****y, which is illegal

If the film is very old, 1960s or earlier and has been in the public domain (shown on terrestrial television) you can sell copies on ebay. I believe this is the only exception to their 'no copies' rule.

It is not legal. You are infringing on the copyright. Some older films without a copyright you can legally sell. As for modern day films you cannot. What you can do though, is copy protected media and sell it for the only the price of the disc you used to burn it on for educational purposes. That is the only legal alternative.
