  1. Because the bull fighting that seems so wrong to you is happening in other countries where we have no say in animal cruelty laws.

  3. Bull fighting in Spain is not considered a sport. It is more like the highest form of art the Spaniards have in their arsenal, greater than flamenco dancers and painters and opera stars. It belongs to the people, and to them it is as much a part of their national identity as citizens of the Spanish empire, as our Bill of Rights is to we Americans.

    Look that up if you don't believe me.
