Ok, so I went with my friend to the social security office and she found that she had no number. She was totally upset being as she is over 21 and it is hard to prove that you don't have one. Is this thier fault or what should she do. She showed documentation but they are giving her such a hard itme and she looks like an american so it isn't that.

  1. Illegally entered the country.

Parents neglected to obtain one for her

  2. I think the SS # is kind of like the Mark of the Beast in the King James Bible.  If you don't have one how can Big Bro watch every move you make unless they start putting microchips in us and using satellite discs to watch us like a hawk.   Kind of like living in Gestapo America you know?

  3. Socialist Security (no typo) is a privilege. It is not something we are mandated to join into.

Your friend's parents are great American's to have forgone that tax break to give their daughter a leg up in life by not signing her up to this horrible program.

I hope you'll ask her to talk to her parents before she stupidly asks government for one.

  4. She should have a birth certificate on file somewhere.  If not, she can get an affidavit of birth from court.  With either of those, she can get an SSN.

  5. If her parents or herself never applied for one, she doesn't have one. Someone missed out on a tax break for her, if she doesn't have a SSN.

  6. Either she is not a US citizen or her parents never filed for one.  What I don't understand is if her parents never filed for one (which is usually included in the paperwork for a birth certificate) HOW could she have ever had a job filed taxes or her parents could never claim her on taxes?  Something sounds fishy.........
