...that the BBC can afford to pay Jonathon Ross £6m a year to present dubious chat show material but cannot afford to pay for the rights to broadcast a major sporting event such as a Calzaghe v Hopkins boxing championship event?

  2. and they're also having massive cutbacks and closing down a lot of their centres in city centres plus putting the c**p they do on TV,like golf last week at prime time TV 10:30 Friday and Saturday,disgusting,f the license fee!

    It is cheaper to show some old archive film, that they bought decades ago and  we have seen a zillions times before to cover the cost of paying some outdated c*nt who cannot interview stars to save his life because he wants to talk about  himself and his family most of the time!
