  1. He maintains 100% concentration and doesn`t smile. Hope Murray beats him tomorrow.

  2. Nadal has been practicing and playing on grass and got use to the surface.  He has shown that he has a good reflex and quick to recover and not slipped over. We will find out if he can keep up the good standard of matchplay when he plays Andy Murray on Wednesday afternoon.  Murray beat Gasquet who was a very good player.  Federer is really the best player who will be playing Ancic who is another good matchplayer and HAS beaten Federer in a earlier game and we will see if Fed can keep his standard of play up.

  3. Nadal may be is one of the hardest working tennis player but he is indeed the best on clay.  On grass it's Federer but Nadal is making the transition really fast.  If he makes it to the finals with Federer I believe he will win this time.  But we aren't there yet.

  4. Because he plays every point like it's his last. He also can get into people's heads and make them think.

  5. i don't think he's the best, federer still holds that title, but he has great form and amazing agilitity and stamina. and he just won the french open.

  6. He tried really hard, got amazing hair and fricken' big muscles. Oh, and a tennis racket, can't forget that.

  7. It all comes in a package I think.  You have to have the will and grit to fight it out all day if you have to in order to win. Not only do you need to have strength and stamina, you must also have the mental ability to last. That is why there is a physical and a mental aspect of the game. Big guns don't help in a battle if you don't have a tactic. I think Nadal has all that. All he's waiting for is time. Of course, that knee injury of his is just a minor set back at this time. I think, that he's guarding that right now which is smart. And then there is that unexplainable " You just have it in you," statement. Federer has it, Pete Sampras and Chris Evert have it. They are just wizards in the court. Navrtatilova had to change the nature of tennis with her physical work out to get better. That's how she surpassed Evert eventually. Nadal is getting there. Maybe his time is this year. Hhmmm....

  8. Yes it is about the strength. It's the power in his forehand which wins the majority of rallies. He doesn't seem to get rattled mentally either.

  9. He keeps getting the ball back.  He outlasts his opponents.
