How is it that ghosts can walk through walls and stuff, but they don't fall through the floor?

  1. B/c they know they are walking on a floor but do not realize that walls are not doors. They can fall through a floor if they so wish.


  2. They CAN walk through floors,though to chase/scare people they just float out of the wall and scare them.

  4. I know, right?  Must have something to do with ectoplasmic energy and materialization, factor in the atmospheric conditions and callouses on their ghostly feet, that makes a good recipe for walking through walls but not falling through floors
