  1. its possible. but it also might be right

especially if your a teen. or kid.

mine went from borderline for glasses to

NEEEEEEED glasses in 5th grade-6th grade.

  2. How old are you? It's common with teenagers to have their vision change, especially if they have gone through a growth spurt. Also, if you have spent more time on the computer, we can see your vision change pretty rapidly. Genetics may have kicked in, does anyone in your family wear glasses or contacts? It could be health related, diabetics who don't have their blood sugar under control often have vision changes, literally overnight. It could be a mistake, no one is perfect, you can go into the office and they can show you what your glasses would look like if they made them up using a trial lens that way you would be able to see if it helps before you buy glasses or you could have your doctor re check your prescription.

  3. like someone stated, growing kids and teens eyes tend to have eye vision changes. i guess it can just be you getting older. i remember when i was younger, they tested me and i had astigmatism, but now i don't and i only wear glasses to see the board at school. u might want to get a 2nd opinion though, some eye doctors tend to mess up eye exams, especially if they're busy that day. have faith that your eyes will be 20/20 like they always have for u. i have faith that they will. :-)

  4. It is possible that the nurse could have messed up the process. But assuming that she did NOT and you meant 20/60...

Like the optician said, puberty or hormones can definitely change your vision rapidly. If its occurring in both eyes it may be something systemic in your body causing the problem. (i.e. Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, etc)

I would recommend just going to the optometrist to see if there's anything other than a normal changes. Make sure you give them a thorough medical/ocular history so that they don't miss anything.

  5. Get thee to a GOOD optometrist to verify!   Sometimes people mess up with those machines.  Good luck!
