Recently a Myspace friend sent me a message saying "did you know your profile pic is posted all over photoswapcity.com?" I was shocked. I went to try to log on to the site & it asked for the friend who referred me, my email & theirs in order to log on. I'm very upset. How is this possible. My account is set where only my "friends" can view my pictures, but of course my profile pic can be seen by anyone (that's why I'm always careful to be careful what pic I use as the "profile pic".) Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this site & how that's possible for someone to do that? Just looking for feedback before I completely delete my account --I really like using the social network to keep in touch with others...

  1. it's a new site every day - it's just a trick - your picture isnt actually up there, they are just stealing peoples' accounts to spam other people, trying to scare them into entering their email address

if you already fell for it, change your password NOW, and tell your friend that she has already been hacked and needs to do the same

    dont fall for this scam

  2. its nothing but a scam its not true. i get that all the time. it just means that persons myspace has been phished let them know so they can change their password
