How is it that somebody v.smart (studying a degree at university) can come out with some really ditzy things?

I do this a lot! I'm sure the same thing happens to toher people in a similar situation... but it seems so ironic....

Oftentimes education is more of a hinderance than a helping hand to some folk. It's the old concept that they can' t see the forrest for the trees.

Im sure the brain gets a little overloaded at times with constant bombardment of academic literature and rebels a little sometimes, ive said in previous posts that we all have the capabilities to be a little crazy at times no ones perfect, in fact it would be highly scary if someone was like a walking text book and had little or no flaws or emotional hick ups.

We are all human, and at the end of the day if you have the ability to focus and stick it out all the way through uni and get a degree then good on you. I guess they do say a lot that uni grads do lack the common sense as they havent been thrown out into the workplace at a young age and fight it out like men, but to be honest what you dont learn now will be picked up later in life, you just do it the other way round. We all have to learn hard knocks in life and whether they be ditzy trivial things that make you go doh, or major life f*ck ups it all goes down on our life c.v. to hopefully make us learn and do better next time:-)
