How is it that we as people can go to the moon...predict weather..but can predict the next outcome of lottery?

We have been able to do amazing things as human beings. We have came a long way from the old days. I dont understand why we can figure out how to beat a 6 number sequence of numbers. I will figure it out!!

because those other things were done by smart people.

going to the moon and predicting the weather are not based on chance.  we're able to predict the weather because of the circumstances that prelude what we predict.  there's no possible way to predict which numbers will pop up into that plastic pipe.  

if it were even SLIGHTLY possible, the lottery wouldn't exist.

It is because if we were able to predict the outcome of the lottery it would only be with the use of a pattern or sequence since humans cannot "look into the future." However, since the lottery is random it produces no discernible pattern and cannot be predicted. Also, if every ball has 20 different outcomes, the total outcomes possible would be 64,000,000 so guessing is out of the question.

Predicting the weather - Very eduacated guessing

Lottery - 1 in 6 million chance you got it right.

All are effected by entirely different things
