  1. Because most of the people who go into these types of programs are trained to 'prospect', instead of building relationships. It's hard to s***w over someone you care about, but if you take their money and run, you dont have to feel responsible.

They also get enamored with the idea of having people work for them, and reaping all of the profit. So, they go out and recruit sales reps, instead of learning to sell their product (if there even is one), and train people to do the same. That isnt sustainable, and only the person at the top wins.

I'm learning a marketing technique that I'm enjoying, and one that lets me sleep easy at night knowing I'm helping people instead of using them for money.

  2. There's a sucker born every minute. That will never change.

  3. The very same way that the overweight fall for the new fad in weight loss or the buzz from people claiming the newfound cure in health and wellness.

The internet scams use the same tactics to prey on the desperation of the naive.  There is no easy way to be successful at ANYTHING in life. In all aspects of life there is a need for hard work to fine tune us. It is what makes us who we are.

  4. I do know several people who from home and they are not clicking links or trying to sell someone else a gimmick. Anyone that can develop a cottage industry and find their niche can make the own business. You just have to find a talent that will pay. Web design, graphics, ebay sales, transcription, printing, proofreading, etc are all services that can be done through a website interface. And I know at least one person that has succeeded in each of the activities I listed. Of course there is work involved - no one is going to pay you to do nothing or even close to nothing!

  5. the easy and simplest rule of thumb

    is

if it sounds too good to be true????

    then...............

  6. Because it would be nice if they existed.

The mentality that really pursues the scams is either lazy or desperate due to circumstance like disability, or having to stay home to raise young children. Those two places are the worst places to be making decisions from and the two where you most want a miracle.

  7. There is only one Industry that is in the business of giving away millions of dollars and thats the lottery. People like that hope of a free ride and will always be interested in it, I am! You will never see a millionaire join one of these scams to make more money. Hard work, investing, and making sound judgments gets you on the money train.

  8. Because people are always looking for an easy way to make money and we just don't want to accept that for 99.9% of us, there just isn't.  Generally people let their emotions get in the way of their logic when making decisions.

That's why people keep buying lottery tickets despite the fact that you have a better chance of getting struck twice by lightning while standing on our heads wearing a panda suit.  (OK, I over embellished a little there).  For the most part mankind (peoplekind, what is politically correct?) is not as rational as he (she) likes to think.

  9. There is no quick make a buck deal anywhere on the Net, just suck up your money pit holes and deals that offer you hundreds of dollars in 24 hours if you buy their deal. Nothing for free now-a-days except chicks. Then that can cost you sometimes too.

  10. The very same reason people have made the diet industry a multi-billion dollar industry and yet our country has a 78% obese rate and is climbing every year. Our society is lazy, lacks motivation, is afraid to think out of the box and think they  are owed a living. I was able to retire at the age of 50 a very successful man. My time is now spent with my family and helping people find the cure for the cancer that has swept our country called a job. I mentor people that are willing to take a chance on themselves.
