  1. i agree with Indigo Child the government just doesn't want to spend money on the important things ..just waste money on stupid things...like finding aliens...how lame

  2. depending on temperature, it takes around a couple days for half of the O3 (ozone) to decompose to to more stable allotrope (I think that is the right word) of oxygen.  It takes lots of energy to create ozone.  It is made by the sun naturally.  It is not particularly cost effective.  There are better things to spend your resources on.

  3. Lol

By doing that, our pollution will go out on the space, then another galaxy might pick it up, then we will have a bunch of upset alients giving us a fine because on the law of the universe, throwing pollution to different galaxies is a bad things to do, we cannot affor the fine. They will sue us and we will be confine to breath our own waste, the parlament that enforces the laws of the universe will make sure we have all intelligence erased, therefore we will succum in our own ignorance. Another civilization will come and make us their slaves. Apes and Dolphins will evolve to the degree to be smarter than humans. Apes will reign and regenate a polluted planet half fixed by the alien's colonies. Dolphins will have a commitment to pursue the same goals in the water, the proble would be with those almost extinct coral reefs. Anyway, don't worry too much about thinking in building factories floating somewhere in the sky, it think it's just more simple and long term efficent to work on earth with the technology with currently can develop. I think it can save us from being slaves, think about it.. serving an alien or an ape? mmm where have I seen and read that?

    lol

Thanks for your questions, it was funny. If we had that technology yet, then we would be able to do something about pollution hopefully.

  4. The cost, the cost, the cost...

It is by far cheaper not to emit ozone depleting substances on the surface than producing ozone in the troposphere. A floating factory at this altitude would cost hundreds of billions not to mention the operational costs...

And as more and more long-lived ozone depleting substances would build up, your factory would need to be bigger and bigger...

And anyway, what would you want to do with your factory? produce ozone (O3) from oxygen (O2) using an additional energy provided by UV radiations??? that's exactly what nature does provided that you do not deplete the ozone faster on the other side with chemicals...

So just wait and the ozone hole will be roughly fixed by 2050.

The international Montreal Protocol has so far been successful and almost all nations on this earth have phased out ozone depleting substances... since we can replace them by non harmful alternatives and do not need them.

  5. Yes, we do posses the technology to do and fix a many of different issues with planet earth. However, I do not believe that they ever will.

The recolve that I came to concerning why they delay and or don't do anything at all is because they just don't care. Why don't they care? Because Earth has undergone change sense the begenning of it's creation and they realize this. I am assuming they figure why try to stop or in their minds "Post-Pone" something that is going to inevitably happen anyway?

According to the famous Scientist Robert Hawkings, the future of mankind is in space.

In this sense...we will never see them make attempts to try and save earth. They have already decided to move man to another planet which in my personal opinon is why there is so much money invested into the Space Programs.

The plan for them is not to fix earth....but to leave earth.

  6. People and our technology are pretty tiny compared to the whole planet.  It's taken us hundreds of years of constantly pumping out pollutants to do so much damage, and would probably take as long to repair.  But there's no need.  The atmosphere reacts with sunlight to naturally generate ozone.  All we have to do is stop producing the chemicals that destroy it.  Now there's a project you can work on with some hope of success!
