How is jon and kate plus 8 so popular?

The kids are turning into little b*****s, the dad doesn't even seem to want to be on the show half of the time, let alone be with them all. And the mom is an attention w***e.

The reason they have a show is because it is reality is isn't a stupid show like The Real World which is all scripted! It is reality everything on the show is live.The kids are good kids just a few are a little moody sometimes they are 4 what the heck do you expect? The show is about how the Jon and Kate wanted kids and couldn't get pregnant on their own. They then turned to fertility treatments and got twins.The both of them are excellent parents and love all the kids equally. Then Kate wanted another baby so Jon agreed and instead of one they got 6 kids.That is reality and you can't change it.The father has 8 kids and a bossy wife what do you expect him to be like? It's not like he doesn't want the show it's just that he is tired-would you be tired if you worked all day,came home and worked more?Kate has every reason to be bossy like that and she has to have the attention because she is the parent!She has to be organized or else the family would be in chaos.This show is helping this family out-it gives them money to live on.It is popular because every parent I have seen watch it watches it for advice and a look at what their life would be like with 8 children

(6-4 year olds)+(2-8 year olds).I just watch it because the kids are funny.

I agree.

In the beginning, this show was nice. The kids were sweet, the parents loved each other, and it was unique. But now the kids have turned into brats, the dad seems kind of distant (and he got hair plugs as a gift from the show! That's just a bit weird if you ask me) and the mum is annoying. There is an episode for every little thing that happens to the family. I swear, the family goes golfing? There's an episode about that. They go shopping and the kids throw a fit? There's an episode about that. They make cookies? There's an episode about that!

Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one. My mum adores this show.

OMG I don't know but my Grandma watches it all the time. Then every single time I mention some issue with one of my kids I have to hear "Well on Jon and Kate plus eight..." UGH! So annoying!

I can appreciate that they are real people but otherwise why should I care? It's not our problem that they happened to have a zillion kids. They are lucky to get all the financial help from the show and whatever else.
