I have always wanted to move to London and live there, and I have read many things about London,England but I never have never went there to visit before deciding to want to live there.A book can't be the same as living there and experiencing what London is all about.

I believe one has to go there to find out about the real London, which is why I am asking these questions.I was born and raised in New York City and I come from a third generation Puerto Rican family. What fascinates me the most about England,is the way the people speak English properly compared to Americans, and their culture, football(called soccer

only in America)drinking tea,and London's ethnic melting pot,and who said only New York is only diverse?need I say more.

I want to move to London no matter what,I want London as my new home no matter what.

  1. London is cold dark and crowded.  The people are nice, Its way too expensive and the food is really fatty and good.  Your choice, I dont like being bumped by 11million people living next to me and I dont like the dark and cold.

  2. Well, it's much more expensive, and has much worse traffic.  Yes, they do speak the Queen's English, but they have murdered their own language as much as any New Yorker has.  To say they speak English more properly than Americans is ignorant, and very arrogant as well.  The exception would be their black people, whom you can't tell from white people just by the way they speak.  They have no ghetto talk, no ebonics, no "I be axin you fo yo money cuz I'z gonna pop a cap in yo *** if you donts gib me my props and yo cash"

You seem to have a real attitude problem.  No one every said only New York is diverse.  Move on to London and renounce your US Citizenship, and let us know how many boring as h**l football games you go to once you are there.  Oh, and "ave a noyce cup of tea, luv".  Now THAT's some fine English Speakin!

  3. I am from London but now a US citizen so I've lived in both places. You could do no better than to experience London. There are good and bad things about both places, but your dream is a very smart and noble one and don't let anyone hold you back. You will LOVE it.

  4. Well, to know London properly you really have to live there for a while. It's no good going to visit for a few days as a tourist, you have to become a Londoner. But the place is changing so fast and it really doesn't feel like an English city anymore (you'll probably meet more foreigners than English people) So don't go there to experience a slice of England because you'll be disappointed if you do. But that aside it is still a beautiful city and i hope you enjoy it should you visit.

  5. It rains a lot over in England
