Because no one works harder than Manny Pacquiao.  Just watch how he trains and you'll find that he's almost like a machine.  He just doesn't seem to stop and always begs his trainer for "one more" this and that.  As Mike Tyson put it, "he's like the Energizer bunny."  Also, Pacquiao is a great student of the sport.  Despite his stature as one of the pound-for-pound greats today, he's not above anything that will make him a better boxer so he has kept on improving through the years.

He has natural speed and a ton of pop in that left hand. Plus, he is just a natural fighter who loves to fight. Some fighters fight out of neccessity. Manny fights because he loves to mix it up.

Manny has the will of a champion! You can't break his spirit to compete he always believes he can win. Even if he's losing at that moment in time. So His will and his ability to mix his boxing (footwork, head & body movement, combonation punches) with his brawling style (he can take 1-2 of yours to land 4 or more of his own). And his usually do more damage! Urjah Faber of the WEC reminds me of a MMA version of Manny having only one speed, "FULL and FORWARD!"

Manny Pacquiao has improved 100% since he signed with Freddie Roach. His style has changed from a aggresive strait forward Slugger who was easy to hit into a aggresive boxer slugger who fights from all angles.

Manny is good because after he lands a few punches hes out of the way and fireing from another angle. It is extremly hard to fight a guy who is hopping and moving all over the place while throwing non stop punches with allot of power and speed from a southpaw stance.

Southpaws are difficult to fight when they are not that great. Manny is a verry effective if not the most effective southpaw I have ever seen. Ive never seen a southpaw punch from angles and move as quick as Manny.

Also he sets a pace that most fighters can't keep up with. The guy is always in tremendouse shape and works on his endurance like an obsession. So even if a guy can hang with him in the early going, they will usually fade in the late rounds giving Manny a chance to knock them out or steal the fight on points.

If Manny stays in shape and stays hungry I cant see anybody on his weight landscape that can beat him.
