Question:

How is my eating? too much? too little?

Breakfast- 3/4 cup oatmeal with skim milk and nonfat yogurt

Lunch- turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread and lettuce, tomato, cheese and mustard on top and an apple

Snack- grapefruit and a glass of skim milk

Dinner- chicken breast with no skin (only 100 cal) and steamed broccilli

then i did 25 min. cardio

is that enough? or too little!?

    Age?

    Height?

    Weight?

Is that all you ate?  Did you drink any calories?  If not, you had maybe 1000 calories which will work for about a week, and then your metabolism will majorly slow down.  Keep up the cardio, push it to 45 minutes if you can.  I would add another 300 calories over two additional meals.  Those calories should be as high in protein as possible, but with some carbs to keep you going.

  3. I think you should be eating a little bit more. You're still growing! You are young and you are a pretty healthy weight for your height. I think you should exercise more and worry less about what you are eating. You could start by doing a good Pilates video and/or do your cardio with wrist or ankle weights. You are young and you are not fat, so please do not deprive yourself. There is so much more to life than worrying about how your body looks.

  4. Sounds like a good sensible diet. Keep it up. Add some starch like potatoes and pasta, and a few goodies now and then, will keep you happy. Remember, plenty of water, all day long - especially when exercising.
